Hi Nugget!

Happy June!! We are halfway through the year. How is it treating you so far?

State of the Dalya:

Growing up in New England, this time of year always felt like such a treat. The days felt so long they would linger on my tongue. But the summer solstice always brought a sense of sadness that the darkness was on its way. I'm so grateful to have grown up in a place with seasons. It made me savor those delicious days as much as humanly possible.

Now, I'm entering into "Vegas Winter" where we hunker down in the AC and go inwards. Being a Hades & Persephone devotee, I find myself excited by the summer solstice, knowing that they will be reunited soon (& I get my nice weather back!).

Even though the Wheel of the Year was coined in the 60s, I still love the idea of the holidays coming from the earth, not from humans.

I'm going to be in my home state for Solstice this year. I'm very excited to be surrounded by green, reunited with loved ones, and getting a break from the oppressive heat here.

-HONESTLY, I have been waiting for Jupiter to move into Leo for years. I have a massive amount of leo in my chart, but my 10th house (Career; hello full time love witch), is both in Leo AND has Jupiter in it. Basically, what I'm saying is, I'm putting it all on red, baybeee, let's go!

-June New Year's Resolutions. HEAR ME OUT. Sometimes our life looks massively different than it did in January. It's ok to call that one the 'rough draft' and make this one the final draft.

-A can of seltzer, lemonade, coconut water, salt. I call it my "Hydration bomb" and it's a must in this desert heat!
